612 REASONS WHY BLAIR AND CHUCK SHOULD BE TOGETHER
1. Because they’re Blair and Chuck, Chuck and Blair. 2. Because butterflies. Enough said. 3. Because Chuck asked her “Are you sure?” 4. Because one day she will be his wife. 5. Because “I’ll stand by you through anything” 6. Because he got inspired by looking into her eyes. 7. Because their outfits match. 8. Because she brings out the best in him and he brings out the worst in her. 9. Because they have tonight. 10. Because he knows she is not some delicate little flower. 11. Because their children would be the best dressed. 12. Because she was all he could think about all summer. 13. Because “3 words, 8 letters”. 14. Because the thought of her and Nate made him sick. 15. Because “we’re inevitable Waldorf”. 16. Because she’ll never be just another girl to him. 17. Because she has an itch only he can scratch. 18. Because he’d rather wait than to screw it up. 19. Because they are going to go to the movies and hold hands, and they’ll be awesome doing it. 20. Because "define like". 21. Because he really is sorry. 22. Because of the hugs.

 | 11:28 am - Ed Norton Says 'Hulk' Sequel Not Happening

We interviewed Edward Norton at SXSW for the Tim Blake Nelson directed Leaves of Grass, in which he plays straight-laced philosophy professor Bill, and then his redneck, pot growing twin brother Brady. It's a great movie, and Brady deserve to stand alongside lovable stoners like Jeff Lebowski and Spiccoli. Look for a review later.
Anyhow, you can read the full interview with Norton and Tim Blake Nelson soon, but in the meantime, he did give us a nugget of info on The Incredible Hulk sequel, which he and Tim Blake Nelson were both attached to. As in, is it happening?
"I don't think so. I think it has got more to do with what Marvel is doing. I get the sense they have this grand vision of unspooling a lot of their characters and then starting to put them together. I think they can only do so many at a time. Obviously, they are doing Iron Man 2 and then getting some of the new ones out."
I'm not sure if that means he won't be in the Avengers movie or if they're just not doing another Hulk-centric movie, but I hope it's the latter. Leaves of Grass was weirdly good, too. source

 | 02:49 pm - Eurovision 2010 Megapost Most Eurovision songs for this year have finally been selected, so after viewing the Serbia post, I thought it would finally make sense to gather them all up in one post and have ONTD determine which songs have a chance, and which songs do not. Join in for campy fun!
What Is Eurovision? It’s basically a huge musical festival that takes place once a year, with each participating country in Europe (and surrounding areas) submitting a song. All songs (except for a few) battle it out throughout the semi-finals for a chance to compete in the finals – the winner of the finals, determined by tele-voting and jury votes, shall win its country hosting priviledges for Eurovision 2011.
Out of each semi-final, TEN songs are chosen. That means that twenty songs will go on to the final from the semis, where they will be joined by the “Big 5”- basically, the countries that invest most money in this festival (UK, France, Spain and Germany) – and last year’s winner (Norway).

 | 08:32 am - Help, please?! I've just come off an amazing run of excellent books. I'm just starting the last book in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy. At the moment, he is my new fave author!!! (If you haven't read the Mistborn trilogy, you really, really must!!)
Anyway, in religiously following bookish & elitistbkreview over the years, I have an impressive list of books to read, if I do say so myself. (448 entries & a good number of those entries are series.) Although that's a long list, it makes it very difficult to pick what to read next. :P So, I've narrowed the list down some, and have come to you for your wise opinions. Do share! Pretty please?!
The Prince of Nothing Trilogy by R. Scott Bakker The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie Kushiel's Legacy Trilogy by Jaqueline Carey Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher Battle Royale by Koushun Takami Vampire Earth series by E.E. Knight The Runelords series by David Farland The Necroscope Saga (series) by Brian Lumley Monster Hunger International (series) by Larry Correia Jump 225 Trilogy by David Louis Edelman Current Mood: hopeful

Kim Kardashian Spells 'I Am a Kind Shark' and Other Awesome Celebrity Anagrams

When you find out "Britney Spears" can be rearranged to spell "presbyterians," you kinda want to know what other celeb names can be shuffled for amusing results. So we did, and found anagrams both classic and ironically topical. Find out the identities of Slovenly Steel Star, Skull and Cobra, and Big Melons... ( Feel free to add more Anagrams...I've added two )
I know this is not exactly 'NEWS' but it's entertaining and it's sunday, so i hope it gets approved... SOURCE

 | 12:51 pm - Jack Bauer might join the Dark Side
Exclusive: NBC may make time for '24'
24 may live to see another day after all. Multiple sources confirm to me exclusively that 20th Century Fox has approached NBC about picking up the series should Fox opt to cancel it — and the Peacock is considering it. “There’s definitely some interest,” says an insider close to the talks. Earlier this week, reports surfaced that 20th (a.k.a. the studio) and Fox (a.k.a. the network) are nearing a mutual decision to end the serial thriller after eight seasons due to declining ratings and rising costs. A move to NBC — while still considered somewhat of a long shot given the hefty price tag — would likely delay 20th’s plans to launch a Jack Bauer film franchise. From a production standpoint, 24 execs have long maintained that it would ne next to impossible to make a movie while the series was still on the air. Reps for 20th and NBC declined to comment. What do you think? Should NBC swoop in and save the series? Or is it time for 24 to pack it in and head to the big screen? Sound off below! SOURCE

 | 11:36 am GYLLENHAAL & DUNST: IS THE ROMANCE BACK ON?

Now that his ex, Reese Witherspoon, is off planning her next wedding to next ex-husband, Jim Toth, is Jake Gyllenhaal finding comfort in the arms of ex, Kirsten Dunst? Both are in Montréal right now. Gyllenhaal is working on the Duncan Jones project, "Source Code", while Dunst is working with Jim Sturgess on "Upside Down." Observant Tweeters have caught Dunst and Gyllenhaal more than a few times shopping and having dinner together already.
( A few of the Tweets below. )
Upgrade/downgrade from Reese? I was hoping for Gyllenhaal/McAdams to happen!

 | 04:30 am - Pixie Lott’s not flagging

The Gravity singer is setting off for America next week to continue her bid to make it big across the pond.
She’s already made a movie out there called Fred, and is working with JOE JONAS on tracks for the US release of her stomping debut album.
But Pixie, 19, has vowed to stay true to her roots – and my snap shows she’ll always be a British girl at heart.
Pixie said:
“I’m going to be in Los Angeles on and off for a while.
“But I’m definitely not moving there permanently.”
Glad to hear it, Pixie.
( her first american single is going to be... )
